Next I travelled along Brook Road, past the site of the cinema, and payed a visit to St Teresa's Junior School. The exterior of this single story building with its distinctive spire (it is a Roman Catholic school) which was used in the episode A Hit For A Miss, although judging by the ages of the gang members it is obviously supposed to be a secondary school (high school). It has hardly changed over the thirty years, although a privet hedge has now been planted across the grass area where the gang emerge from the school (see pic 28). |
